The following keyboard shortcuts can be used to move to the Index and Index Results windows in Microsoft Document Explorer.

Display the Index window. |
CTRL+ALT+F2 |
Move to the Look for or Filtered by drop-down list boxes, or to the keyword list. |
TAB |
Change the filter. |
Select the Filtered by drop-down list box using the TAB key. Change the filter option using the UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW. |
Display the Index Results window. |
SHIFT+ALT+F2 |
Select a keyword in the list. |
UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW |
Move through the keyword list. |
UP ARROW and DOWN ARROW, or PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN, or HOME and END |
Display the selected topic. |
ENTER When you press ENTER, the focus changes to the document window. To return focus to the Index window, press CTRL+ALT+F2. |
