All waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), waste electronic components, waste batteries, and electronic waste residuals must be managed according to applicable laws and regulations. Microsoft offers recycling programs for Microsoft-branded products, including components and batteries. You can find your nearest recycling program here.
If you are a Microsoft supplier that performs services that generate WEEE (including waste components and batteries) or provides end-of-life management services for WEEE (including waste components and batteries), then you must comply with H09117, “Conformance Standards for Environmentally Sound Management of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)” which is available at this link.
