ID3DXEffect::SetTechnique method

Sets the active technique.

Syntax

HRESULT SetTechnique(
  [in] D3DXHANDLE hTechnique
);

Parameters

hTechnique [in]

Type: D3DXHANDLE

Unique handle to the technique. See Handles (Direct3D 9).

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If the method succeeds, the return value is S_OK. If the method fails, the return value can be D3DERR_INVALIDCALL.
