| SQL Distributed Management Objects (SQL-DMO) strings are always returned as OLE BSTR objects. A C/C++ application obtains a reference to the string. The application must release the reference using SysFreeString. |
Notes
The DataSource property provides a value for the OLE DB initialization property DBPROP_INIT_DATASOURCE. Initialization properties are set for the provider when an attempt is made to connect to the OLE DB data source referenced by the LinkedServer object.
