Gets the float stored in a PipelineBuffer column.

columnIndex
The index of the column in the buffer row.

The float contained in the PipelineBuffer column.

Notes

If the value of the column is null, the PipelineBuffer produces a ColumnIsNullException. You can check for null by calling the IsNull method prior to accessing the column data.
