Voor functies van de gegevenscatalogus gebruikt u de Microsoft Purview-service , die geïntegreerde gegevensgovernance biedt voor uw hele gegevensomgeving.
U kunt metagegevens publiceren met behulp van een openbare API of een hulpprogramma voor klikken op registratie, of door gegevens handmatig rechtstreeks in te voeren in de Azure Data Catalog-webportal. De volgende tabel bevat een overzicht van alle gegevensbronnen die momenteel worden ondersteund door de catalogus en de publicatiemogelijkheden voor elk van deze bronnen. Ook vermeld zijn de externe gegevenshulpprogramma's die elke gegevensbron kan starten vanuit onze portal 'open-in'-ervaring. De tweede tabel bevat een meer technische specificatie van elke gegevensbronverbindingseigenschap.
