IUIAnimationTimerEventHandler::OnPreUpdate method (uianimation.h)

Handles events that occur before an animation update begins.

Syntax

HRESULT OnPreUpdate();

If the method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code. See UIAnimation Error Codes for a list of error codes.

For each tick, a timer calls the following sequence of methods:

OnPreUpdate and OnPostUpdate are called on the IUIAnimationTimerEventHandler registered with the IUIAnimationTimer::SetTimerEventHandler method. OnUpdate is called on the IUIAnimationTimerUpdateHandler registered with the IUIAnimationTimer::SetTimerUpdateHandler method.
