Property Value
A ConfigProperty object that specifies the settings for the affinity 64 IO mask configuration option.
Remarks
The Affinity64IOMask property sets the affinity 64 IO mask configuration option. This property is used to increase input and output performance on 64 bit, symmetric multiprocessor systems that are operating under heavy load. A specific thread can be associated with a specific processor. SQL Server can be allocated specific processors and precluded from specific processors.
