Database.Refresh Method

Remarks

The Refresh method updates the Database object properties from the instance of SQL Server. For information about refreshing data programmatically, see SQL Server 2008 Native Client Programming.

'Connect to the local, default instance of SQL Server.

srv = New Server

'Reference the AdventureWorks database.
Dim db As Database
db = srv.Databases("AdventureWorks")

'Rename the database

db.Refresh()

Any public static (Shared in Microsoft Visual Basic) members of this type are thread safe. Any instance members are not guaranteed to be thread safe.
