ISfcCollection.AddShadow Method

Adds the specified object to the shadow collection. Do not reference this member directly in your code. It supports the SQL Server infrastructure.

Parameters

• sfcInstance
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Management.Sdk.Sfc.SfcInstance
  The SfcInstance object to add to the shadow collection.

Return Value

Type: System.Boolean
A Boolean which is true if the item is successfully added to the collection; otherwise, false.

Remarks

This method is used only during merging (see the PrepareMerge and FinishMerge methods for more information).
