Manually Deploying ActiveX Components

In addition to using the Package and Deployment Wizard to package your components for download, you can also manually prepare your files for Internet download. This approach requires more effort on your part than using the Package and Deployment Wizard. In most cases, you will want to use the wizard to package and deploy your controls. However, you may want to manually package your components if you want to include custom information not supported by the Package and Deployment Wizard.
