StorPortVirtualDevice2 rule (storport)

This rule verifies that upon exit from the HwStorFindAdapter routine, the VirtualDevice field in the PORT_CONFIGURATION_INFORMATION (Storport) structure has been set to TRUE. The rule applies only to virtual StorPort miniports.

How to test

At compile time

Run Static Driver Verifier and specify the StorPortVirtualDevice2 rule.

Use the following steps to run an analysis of your code:
  1. Prepare your code (use role type declarations).
  2. Run Static Driver Verifier.
  3. View and analyze the results.
