IUserNotification::Show method (shobjidl_core.h)

Displays the notification.

Syntax

HRESULT Show(
  [in, optional] IQueryContinue *pqc,
  [in]           DWORD          dwContinuePollInterval
);

Parameters

[in, optional] pqc

Type: IQueryContinue*

An IQueryContinue interface pointer, used to determine whether the notification display can continue or should stop (for example, if the user closes the notification). This value can be NULL.

[in] dwContinuePollInterval

Type: DWORD

The length of time, in milliseconds, to display user information.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

This method is equivalent to calling Show with pSink=NULL.

Requirements
