IServiceTransactionConfigBase::IsolationLevel method (comsvcs.h)

Sets the isolation level of the transactions.

Syntax

HRESULT IsolationLevel(
  [in] COMAdminTxIsolationLevelOptions option
);

Parameters

[in] option

A value from the COMAdminTxIsolationLevelOptions enumeration.

Return value

This method can return the standard return values E_INVALIDARG, E_OUTOFMEMORY, E_FAIL, and S_OK.

Remarks

A new transaction is created if the enclosing transaction is not running at the specified isolation level. This method is ignored if the enclosed code would not otherwise run in a transaction.
