DwmUnregisterThumbnail function (dwmapi.h)

Removes a Desktop Window Manager (DWM) thumbnail relationship created by the DwmRegisterThumbnail function.

Syntax

HRESULT DwmUnregisterThumbnail(
  [in] HTHUMBNAIL hThumbnailId
);

Parameters

[in] hThumbnailId

The handle to the thumbnail relationship to be removed. Null or non-existent handles will result in a return value of E_INVALIDARG.

Return value

If this function succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

Unregistering DWM thumbnail relationships must be done within the process that registered the relationships.
