INewShortcutHookA::SetReferent method (shlobj.h)

Sets the referent of the shortcut object.

Syntax

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.

Remarks

For Internet shortcut objects, this method is the same as IUniformResourceLocator::SetURL.
