IFileDialog::SetFileName method (shobjidl_core.h)

Sets the file name that appears in the File name edit box when that dialog box is opened.

Syntax

HRESULT SetFileName(
  [in] LPCWSTR pszName
);

Parameters

[in] pszName

Type: LPCWSTR

A pointer to the name of the file.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
