CBaseRenderer.ResetEndOfStream method

[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. Microsoft strongly recommends that new code use MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation instead of DirectShow, when possible. The ResetEndOfStream method resets the end-of-stream flags.

Syntax

virtual HRESULT ResetEndOfStream();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Returns S_OK.

Remarks

This method clears the previous end-of-stream condition. At that point, the filter can receive new data. The CBaseRenderer::Stop and CBaseRenderer::BeginFlush methods call this method.
