CSystemClock.CreateInstance method

[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The CreateInstance method creates a new instance of this object.

Parameters

pUnk

Pointer to the aggregating IUnknown interface.

phr

Pointer to a variable that receives an HRESULT value indicating the success or failure of the method.

Remarks

The class factory calls this method to create the object.
