CTransformFilter.GetPinCount method

[The feature associated with this page, DirectShow, is a legacy feature. It has been superseded by MediaPlayer, IMFMediaEngine, and Audio/Video Capture in Media Foundation. Those features have been optimized for Windows 10 and Windows 11. The GetPinCount method retrieves the number of pins on the filter.

Syntax

virtual int GetPinCount();

Parameters

This method has no parameters.

Return value

Returns 2.

Remarks

This method overrides the CBaseFilter::GetPinCount method. The CTransformFilter class supports exactly one input pin and one output pin.
