IPAT::FindRecordProgramMapPid method (mpeg2psiparser.h)

The FindRecordProgramMapPid method returns the packet identifier (PID) for the program map table (PMT) associated with a given program number.

Syntax

HRESULT FindRecordProgramMapPid(
  [in]  WORD wProgramNumber,
  [out] WORD *pwVal
);

Parameters

[in] wProgramNumber

Specifies the program number.

[out] pwVal

Receives the PID.

Return value

The method returns an HRESULT. Possible values include those in the following table.

Return code Description
E_POINTER
 NULL pointer argument.
MPEG2_E_NOT_PRESENT
 The table does not contain the specified program number.
S_OK
 The method succeeded.
