This article describes the new features, improvements and fixes to existing functionality that are included in this build.

New Features
Local scope for variables and local subflows have now been introduced in Power Automate for desktop, allowing for more granularity and control in desktop flow authoring.
Version control has now been introduced in preview as out-of-the-box functionality for desktop flows, allowing you to create and manage multiple versions of a flow.
This embedded tool will gradually become available to all regions during the following three months.
A new Application setting is now available in the General tab of the console settings, allowing you to preload the flow designer and improve its responsiveness when creating or editing a desktop flow.
Enhancements & Improvements
The functionalities to run attended flows in picture-in-picture mode, as well as trigger flows via desktop shortcut or URL, are no longer premium and can now be used by all users.
Endpoint filtering has now been added and is supported for HTTP actions.
The Power Automate troubleshooter application can now be launched from the Windows Start menu.
The default delay between actions during debugging in the flow designer has now been changed to 50ms from the previous 100ms.
Some icons have now been updated with more modern fonts.
Repaired Functionality
The following list details issues in Power Automate for desktop that are now resolved:
RDP permissions are now validated before throwing a session retrieval error in cloud unattended runs.
A null reference exception occurring when opening the assets library has now been resolved.
An unexpected variable length error, occurring in Flow checker after adding a UI elements collection to a flow, has now been resolved.
A console freezing issue occurring when selecting to create or edit a desktop flow repeatedly has now been resolved.
The proper error dialog is now shown when a flow fails to load due to version incompatibility.
After getting an error due to network issues when trying to edit a flow, the ‘Preparing to edit’ state no longer persists, and the flow can now be edited again.
An issue in sign-in environment loading operations, which occurs during the initialization phase after user authentication, has now been resolved.
The ‘New flow’ button in the home screen of the console is no longer enabled when flow creation is not possible.
A connector internal error occurring in cloud initiated runs of desktop flows has now been resolved.
A cache issue causing long startup times for machine sessions has now been resolved.
Errors from parallel child flows are now ignored by the parent flow upon the latter’s completion.
A more appropriate error message is now thrown in connector actions that do not support dynamic inputs.
The Web Browser Process Exited exception message for non picture-in-picture sessions has now been improved.
Other Announcements
- Web automation using WebDriver is now generally available, enabling web automation actions to run without relying on Power Automate’s browser extensions. Remediation steps with a WebDriver option have also been added to address browser launch failures.
