IVMSerialPort::ConnectImmediately property

The ConnectImmediately property contains whether the serial port should be opened without waiting for a modem command to be received.

Contains vbTrue if the serial port should be opened without waiting for a modem command to be received.

This property value is read-only.

Name	Meaning
S_OK	The operation was successful.
E_POINTER	The connectImmediately parameter is NULL.
VM_E_VM_UNKNOWN	The current virtual machine configuration is invalid.
DISP_E_EXCEPTION	An unexpected error occurred.

Only valid for port type vmSerialPortHostPort.
