PLA Samples

The Windows SDK includes the following sample that uses the PLA interfaces. The PLA sample is located in the Windows SDK samples folder at Samples\WinBase\WinNT\PerfLogsAlert.

Sample Description
DataCollectoSet Shows how to use a data collector set to:
  • Collect performance counter data
  • Create an event tracing session to collect event tracing data
  • Create a performance counter alert that when set, writes an event to the event log
  • Collect configuration data from the computer
