The following table shows the FAT file system I/O controls with a description of the purpose of each.

I/O Control	Description
IOCTL_DISK_FORMAT_VOLUME	Issued to the FAT to be formatted to perform a high-level format of the volume.
IOCTL_DISK_SCAN_VOLUME	Scans a disk volume for errors.
