The following table shows the Application Programming Interfaces for the PhCommon Authentication functionality.

Programming element	Description
PHAuthenticateUser	This interface authenticates a user.
PHCancelAuthenticationRequest	This interface cancels an authentication request for a user.
PHWritePIN	This interface writes a PIN and encrypts it.
PHReadPIN	This interface retrieves a PIN and decrypts it.
