Why is there not a month view in Microsoft teams calender? There is day, work week and week, but no month?? What gives??

I would like to view my calendar as the whole month. Viewing it one week at a time is pointless for me. I would like to view the whole month at a time...Why is this not an option?? Day, work week and week are the only options...

Found this on YT that offers a workaround. Not as finished and refined looking as the Team calendar, but it looks like it works.

i've been using the web based version of outlook on my phone and toggling on the bottom to the calendar there. i dont use the teams app to view the calendar because its useless

Because MS in is finite wisdom determined we don't need such a thing initially and likely will add it to an ever growing list of conveniences to include in an "Ultra Business Pack" that they can charge extra for because its an "upgrade".
If MS sold umbrellas, they'd charge extra to open it when it rained.

Unfortunately, there's no way to view the calendar by month using Teams. Teams only supports displaying the calendar in day/week formats.

As a workaround, you need to view your calendar in outlook to see a month view of your calendar.

To get this feature more quickly, I have found feedback in Teams UserVoice, and you could vote for it. Many features of our current products are designed and upgraded based on customers’ feedback. With requirements like this increase, the problem may well be released in the future. Thanks for your understanding and support.

I followed the "best-practice" from https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/questions/5549897/best-practices-for-shared-calendar.

Even though the Teams-channel-calendar doesn't have the month-view feature, the events integrate to individual Outlooks which can be perused in month-view. I haven't actually done it yet, but if that doesn't work then after looking through all 365 degrees, the silver lining might be together with the end of the rainbow.
