Connecting surface earbuds to two devices

Is it possible, if using an android phone and a surface book to connect the earbuds similitaniously to each of those devices?

Having the surface audio app installed on both devices, it's still hard to quickly change audio between the phone and the laptop.

I am massively bummed on this.

I just got mine now, connected them to my phone and Surface - but only one at a time.

I want my phone connected for phone calls, and connected to my surface for work.

    This sux.

Arggg I was searching for the way to do this and this thread came up in the search results.

I use Teams frequently for work, but wanted to be able to switch between Surface Laptop and phone (android) quickly... Seems like a very unfortunate flaw.

What would be great if a triple tap on the left earbud toggled to the next bluetooth connection in the paired list.

Being connected to only one device at a time is a real limiting factor and a deal-breaker. My 3-year-old Surface headphones do not have this limitation. Hard to believe the Surface Earbuds do.

That's too bad. That's a deal breaker. I cant recommend these to any of my users. Multipoint has been a part of Bluetooth for 10 years. We will have to stick to Jabra earbuds for now.

    Hi,

oh man. I ordered the Surface Earbuds just a few days ago and now becoming aware of problems I hoped to solve with this new device. Not being able to switch between multiple devices is really a pain and it is a tie breaker for me as well. I actually don't need it to be have multiple established connections at the same time but it needs to be easy to tell it to connect to a different device easily. Like a gesture which iterates through all paired devices in order to try to establish a connection.

I really hope that this gets introduced before I receive my devices.

    Take care!

    Alex
