Slow AD authentication on work websites

For the last 2 to 3 weeks I've been having issues with slow AD authentication when access work-related websites. I use a separate profile for work purposes. The problem only happens with Edge on MacOS. It works fine with Chrome, Safari, Edge on Windows. It also only occurs with the aforementioned profile. I've tried removing the profile and re-adding, but the same slowness results. I've also tried Edge Beta and Edge Dev, which also have the same slowness when signed in to the same profile. Does anyone have any ideas as to how I can resolve this? I can change browser but I don't think any other browser supports multiple profiles as well as Edge. I currently use 4 separate profiles to keep different MS 365 accounts fully separate.

Given that it worked with every other browser I had available, it seemed that it was specific to Edge on MacOS - hence I raised it here. That said, it's possible someone there might have useful input - not sure if cross-posting is possible...

This is happening to me as well. I have 2 Macs, Intel on Monterey and M1 on Ventura. Both are slow as ****. I have tried several different Microsoft365/AzureAD logins, cleared the cache, reinstalled Edge and nothing helps. Sometimes takes between 30 -45 seconds to login.

Tried different network locations as well. Really think this is an Edge problem.

I forgot to mention that I'd cleared the cache, history, etc. to no avail. It does appear to be a Mac Edge problem, but I'm curious as to why it happens across all 3 versions I tried. I believe there should be some weeks between changes in the dev version and the full release version. I've now moved to Safari for work sites, but unfortunately Safari doesn't support profiles (I don't understand why Apple doesn't see the need), and I can't sync with a browser on my Android phone. At least I know that it's not just me, so thanks for your response. One thing I haven't tried yet is deletion of the ~/Library/Application Support folder for Edge. To me though, it seems unlikely it would help as there are separate folders for each Edge version, and they all show the same behaviour so corrupt data seems an unlikely cause.

I wish I could remember which version was still good so I could roll back to that version if possible.

I can confirm too that Firefox works as well, so it's definitely not a desktop or OS issue.
