Phone number as primary alias (Country code not supported)

This issue is about Microsoft account and Microsoft rewards redemption process.

While redeeming the Microsoft point in exchange of gift cards Microsoft rewards wants phone number where it can send verification code. While adding phone number to my account there's an error which says the country code +880 (bangladesh) is not supported by Microsoft. Because of which I am not able to redeem the reward. After that I contacted support but no resolution about this problem was made. I tried using different networks and number of different providers, but no codes were received. I even log out of my account in every device for 24 HR for server refresh, but it also doesn't seem to work out. Previously it was possible to add number to account and create account with phone number. Now, it is also not possible to create account from bangladesh using our phone number. Instead of solving this problem Microsoft directs us to use mail instead. If this problem continues, then there's no benefit of using Microsoft account as it directs us to use mail instead. I have reached rewards support too but they also semms to have no idea about this issue. I checked all other posts/threads about this problem and failed to find any solution. EVERY one of them just told me to contact microsoft support. I know alot of people facing this problem. some of the threads told us to clear cache data/data from my browser, use different device/browser but I already tried them and it DOESNT work.

I urge the devs to fix this problem or if theres any solution then please let us know.. FOR THE SAKE OF MICROSOFT REWARDS 😭
