    Hello H

Im Juliet and Im happy to help you :)

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble launching Microsoft Edge on your Macbook Pro M1.

I would suggest you try to Check if your Macbook Pro is running the latest version of macOS. Microsoft Edge requires macOS 10.14 or later to run. If you're not running the latest version of macOS, try updating your operating system and see if that helps.

Let me know what happens :)

When I try to launch it tries and I can see the icon jumping, but edge will not appear at all. No error message or anything. I installed the Dev version and that one does work. I’m using that one right now. It’s showing an update but I’m afraid to install the update and face the same issue.

I would also suggest you try to Clear Edge cache and browsing data. Accumulated cache and browsing data can sometimes interfere with the browser's functionality.

Open the Dev version of Edge, go to Settings, navigate to the Privacy, search, and services section, and click on "Choose what to clear." Then, select the desired options (e.g., browsing history, cookies, cached data) and click "Clear."
