We have switched to a new printer, and the Quick Print option now cuts off the page borders. Can anyone advise on how to resolve this issue? I have adjusted the default settings and am printing from a PDF.

    Dear @Janelle,

    Thank you for your update!

I truly appreciate your current status sharing. Therefore, I would make a brief summary of this post so that other forum members could easily find useful information here:

    Issue Description

After switching to a new Canon iR-ADV 3922 printer, the Quick Print function from Soda PDF consistently cuts off the right-hand side of printed pages. This issue:

    • Occurs only when using Quick Print.
    • Does not happen when printing manually via the Print dialog.
    • Affects only one user (Van Huynh), while others on the same floor using the same printer do not experience the problem.
    • Persists across all trays set to A4.
    • Remains unresolved even after updating the printer driver and checking physical paper guides.

    Current Status:

    • The issue is still investigated.
    • A photocopier technician investigated but concluded it was a Soda PDF application issue and did not pursue further.
    • The latest Canon driver was installed, but it did not resolve the problem.
    • Manual printing works perfectly, suggesting the issue is isolated to Quick Print defaults or scaling.

    Recommended Solution:

Please understand that as forum moderator, I don’t have access to the backend systems to troubleshoot this effectively due to privacy and security constraints.

For that reason, the most efficient solution would be to contact Microsoft’s support team directly via Microsoft Support - Contact Us
