Title: Users may be unable to upload background images larger than 1800x1800 during Microsoft Teams meetings User impact: Users may be unable to upload background images larger than 1800x1800 during Microsoft Teams meetings. More info: When attempting to upload a background image larger than 1800x1800, users receive an error message stating, "invalid image size" and the upload fails. Users can avoid this issue by resizing the desired image to below the aforementioned dimensions. Current status: Our fix to revert the strict size check logic has been validated and we're expecting deployment to start by Monday, March 31, 2025, which is when we anticipate providing an updated timeline for impact remediation. Scope of impact: This issue may affect any user attempting to upload a background image larger than 1800x1800 during any Microsoft Teams meeting. Start time: Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at 2:13 AM UTC Root cause: A recent change instituted a restriction on image size for background image uploads in Microsoft Teams. Next update by: Monday, March 31, 2025, at 11:00 PM UTC

In case any update from backend, we will keep you posted

    Have a great day.

This needs to be updated if the restrictions have changed. I kept trying different sizes and getting the errors. Really there should be a way for Teams to resize the uploaded image itself
