Class Notebook and OneNote

I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

If you have completed a Notebook setup, you will see a "Class Notebook" tab only in General channel.

There are essential components(section) of the OneNote Class Notebook experience that has been targeted to specific audiences:

1. Student Notebooks -- a private space shared between the teacher and each individual student. Teachers can access every student notebook, while students can only see their own.
2. Content Library -- a read-only space where teachers can share handouts with students.
3. Collaboration Space -- a space where everyone in your class can share, organize, and collaborate.

I have those sections, but I don't have any students. That is my issue.

Hi Adam,

Thanks for sticking with me. I will try my best to answer your questions.
By design, Students within your class(Team) can participate to Collaboration Space but never show up in Class Notebook. They have their own view(Student) in notebook which enables co-authoring for them to collaborate and participate in Notebook in real-time.

You can create assignments with class notebook for students to work on or reference and review assignments, this is the section you will see all your students who turned in assignments.

I dont have students showing up with access to the onenote class notebook. So i cannot share assignments with them.
