Our office has a test machine running Windows 11 24H2. However, the machine is not officially supported by Windows 11 as the CPU is not incompatible. We changed the registry and managed to install Windows 11 on it.

Now, we need to test the app performance on latest Windows 11 25H2. How can we do that? Is 25H2 ISO available for download?

P.S. The PC has a good hardware profile with Intel i9 CPU, 16GB RAM and 1 TB SSD.

To install Windows 11 25H2 on an unsupported PC, first download the Windows 11 ISO from Microsoft's website and create a bootable USB using tools. During installation, bypass hardware checks by pressing Shift + F10 to open Command Prompt, then run regedit to add a new LabConfig key in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup. Create DWORD values BypassTPMCheck and BypassSecureBootCheck set to 1. Continue with the installation, and post-installation, your PC may be recognized as unsupported.

This method bypasses official requirements but may lead to stability or security issues. Proceed with caution.

To test your app on Windows 11 25H2, you’ll need access to the latest ISO image of that version. As of now, Microsoft typically releases Windows 11 feature updates through Windows Update, but ISO images are also available for download.

Since your machine is not officially supported, installing Windows 11 25H2 on unsupported PC might encounter issues. You might need to bypass certain compatibility checks, similar to your previous registry modifications. For testing purposes, you could also set up a virtual machine (using Hyper-V, VMware, or VirtualBox) with the Windows 11 25H2 ISO, which provides a safer environment for testing.
