>WINGET show --id Microsoft.Office --versions
Version

16.0.19231.20072
Before September 16th, 2025, WINGET installed the most recent Current Channel.
>WINGET show --id Microsoft.Office --versions

16.0.19127.20222
According to https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/current-channel-preview , the Current Channel (PREVIEW) versions are for Microsoft 365 Insider Program.
Why has Microsoft changed the behavior of WINGET to install the Insider preview versions?
Using Intune to detect and install latest Current Channel version using remediation script is now broken. The Office Tenant wide policy is to use Current Channel and not Insider/Preview.
