This reference is part of the edge-action extension for the Azure CLI (version 2.75.0 or higher). The extension will automatically install the first time you run an az edge-action version command. Learn more about extensions.

--edge-action-name

The name of the Edge Action.

--name --version -n

az edge-action version deploy-from-file

Deploy edge action version code from a JavaScript or zip file.

This command provides file-based deployment for edge action versions. It automatically detects the deployment type based on the file extension (.js for JavaScript files, .zip for zip archives) unless explicitly specified.
