Activities are similar to interests. The important difference is that customers may perform activities in which they have no 'interest' or 'passion'.
The key for a business is to identify the activities that can be used to acquire customers, market to customers or achieve some similar business objective.
Activities describe what a consumer 'does', such as occupation, hobbies, entertainment.
Each organization will identify, define and track a specific set of AIO's to gather information about, define consumers and make decisions.
Sales, marketing and advertising activities are often planned for or targeted at groups involved in or interested in specific activities.
