My OneDrive does not sync and asked to renew although I pay a monthly fee.

I pay the MS premium plan monthly, but files don't sync with 1 TB storage. Informed I needed to renew my plan by May 25, 2024, even though I pay monthly. Very confusing.

I unlinked my account to relink it; however, it no longer has an Onedrive settings button. This is all very confusing.

Recently, I unlinked my account to relink it, but now I can no longer find the settings button. Can you please help me understand what's going on?

Anthony

    HI CraigLong,

The following appears in my banking account:

    MS charge 9.99 4/424

    Google MS 6.99 charge 4/2/24

I was wondering why I have two charges.

    Thanking you,

    Anthony

I wouldn't be able to help with this.

Go into your Microsoft account > Subscriptions > View all subscriptions > Get billing help.

    I can't help you with Google's charges.

If you pay by credit card you can usually get more details online by logging in to your credit card's online website.

My frustration with my OneDrive sync issue while trying to instruct my English 101 class made me feel very disappointed. It wasn't enjoyable because the solutions offered didn't work for me, and I've decided to switch to Google Drive. I'm confident that I'll find a platform that works better for me and my needs. An ex OneDrive fan since 2007.

OneDrive works if you have a subscription and enough space on your local drive to keep synced copies. Files On-Demand is definitely not the best way to go.
