There are fix that I've found that can be useful.
First you can try uninstalling the driver from Device Manager, then restart your device and let Windows reinstall it automatically. Also, make sure to disable power-saving for the adapter by going to its Properties > Power Management tab and unchecking “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.” If your router is using WPA3 or mixed WPA2/WPA3 mode, try switching it to WPA2-only, and let me know how it goes.
To help me assist you better, What is the brand and model of your device you are having issues with? You can press Windows + R, type msinfo32, and share the System specs listed there. Also, is this the only device on your network experiencing connection drops? What router model are you using? Lastly, could you share a screenshot of your Device Manager showing the Marvell Wi-Fi driver? and are there any error messages you encounter when you try to reinstall driver? That’ll help us confirm the exact version installed.
Looking forward to your reply so we can get this sorted out!
Best,
Carl -

Thanks.
The following was not an option under the device manager for the adapter so I hesitated to deinstall the driver
Also, make sure to disable power-saving for the adapter by going to its Properties > Power Management tab and unchecking “Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
Using Google nest router (defaults to WPA-2only) and the Surface is the only device experiencing internet connection issues. The only error message is no internet connection when i click the task bar at the bottom.
LMK if you need anything else and whether the screen shots came through
