Great! thanks for the update! I found some helpful threads from other Surface users having the same issue with the Marvell AVASTAR network controller. A few of them had success with this workaround, might be worth trying on your Surface Laptop 2:Kindly check this for reference: https://www.reddit.com/r/Surface/comments/pq284z/psa_if_youre_unable_to_connect_to_some_wifi/
Try this driver update:
Download this driver:
Marvell Net Driver 15.68.17015.112
(It’s a .cab file — allow pop-ups if needed.)
Open the .cab file and extract the contents to a folder (you’ll need the .inf and .sys files).
Right-click the .inf file and choose Install. Accept any warnings.
Go to Device Manager > Network adapters >
Marvell AVASTAR Wireless-AC Network Controller
Right-click > Update driver
Choose Browse my computer > Let me pick from a list
Select the one labeled Marvell Semiconductor, Inc. (not Microsoft).
Reboot your device.
Let me know how it goes.
