Printing also works fine using the web app version of word not ideal but less steps than having to export word documents to a pdf which works okay until microsoft releases a fix

A new version of the Word app for iOS devices has just been released and now the print feature works fine

I just figured it out: the Options Menu was changed on the iPad version, but not the iPhone version.

On my iPhone, the triple dots Options menu in the upper right provides 12 different Options (2 of which are the same). It includes the Files Options section which has the Print function.

On my iPad, pressing the Options button only brings up 4 Options (the least useful ones). The missing Files Options are accessed by clicking the file name, which is almost to the far left of the menu ribbon. The clue that I hadn’t noticed when they changed the menu structure is a down arrow to the right of the file name.

The only thing more annoying than gratuitous changes in menu structure is inconsistent structure between platforms.
