Deleted Teams Channel Reappeared in my Teams Site

Hello,

I have a channel on teams that was deleted months ago but now it seems to have reappeared as a channel on the teams site. When I go to manage channels this channel does not appear as an active channel nor does it appear in the deleted channels. I have confirmed that other members in the channel can see this channel. When I click on the channel is says "We're having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing."

How do I remove an already deleted channel?

    I am also having this issue.

    • It shows correctly in old teams desktop, new and old teams browser.
    • Clearing the cache didn't work.
    • Channels don't show up in manage channels so can't restore/delete again.

    Good morning!

    The teams channel did not show up in my web Teams so I cleared the cache and the channel no longer shows up on my desktop teams. To ensure that everyone no longer sees this deleted channel do I need them to clear their cache as well?

    I'm having the same issue with a team in the web browser version. The deleted Channel is now showing up in active channels (but is not functional) but is no more in deleted channels. I checked in Teams admin and there is no trace of the deleted channel...

    I'm having the same issue- It appears that at the one month mark our deleted channels reappear with no content nor ability to delete / hide etc. I have to clear cache on 14 different member's computers at least every day to make it disappear but then different old channels appear later. It's becoming very frustrating for my team members and I. There does not appear to be a permanent fix. On New teams they at least appear as read channels but on Old teams they appear as freshly created channels which require attention. Of course they are dead channels with no content and state "We’re having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing."

    I did:
    In the meantime, I'd like to suggest you try the following steps to see if you can delete the channel:

    1. Click on More options > Manage team > Channels.
    2. Scroll down to Deleted > expand the list of channels.
    3. If the channel appears in this list, click on Restore.
    4. After restoring, click on More options > Delete to delete the channel again.

    And the deleted channels do not appear on the Active channel list in "More options > Manage team > Channels. " nor the Deleted section, BUT they do exist in the main Teams channel list and as noted by others, and can't be deleted (again).
