Hello,
I have a channel on teams that was deleted months ago but now it seems to have reappeared as a channel on the teams site. When I go to manage channels this channel does not appear as an active channel nor does it appear in the deleted channels. I have confirmed that other members in the channel can see this channel. When I click on the channel is says "We're having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing."
How do I remove an already deleted channel?

A fix that seems to have worked for me is to sign out of Teams then sign back in again. I suspect a caching issue.
So yet again we have an unresolved Microsoft problem that shouldn't exist.
Put another way - another bug that Microsoft won't fix!
This issue is even if you refresh cache and they disappear, later on some will re-appear (I just had the issue)... If Microsoft was really using teams themselves they would find out and fix quickly.... So I will probably have to wait a couple of months... Or I can ask users to quit and restart (this will be added to my "how to resolve 365 issues" list just after how to update the SharePoint hub menu cache issue instruction).. This is what I call productivity and a good way to promote user acceptance.. But Microsoft is too busy creating new overlapping products and AI to generate more revenue so they don't have time to fix current product.
The issue is still there. I'm using the "New" teams and these permanently deleted channel are still showing up (Note: The one I see are shared channels) !!!
Can we have some updates from Microsoft on this issue and if they are working on it?
And the issue is STILL THERE! I had over 100 deleted channels appear in the New Teams. I refuse to go back and delete them. Back to old Teams as I can't wade through that many!
