Deleted Teams Channel Reappeared in my Teams Site

Hello,

I have a channel on teams that was deleted months ago but now it seems to have reappeared as a channel on the teams site. When I go to manage channels this channel does not appear as an active channel nor does it appear in the deleted channels. I have confirmed that other members in the channel can see this channel. When I click on the channel is says "We're having trouble loading your messages. Try refreshing."

How do I remove an already deleted channel?

Thanks,

I am also encountering this issue. As someone mentioned, it appears to be some sort of local caching issue for the Desktop App. Exiting the New Teams and Opening it again or rebooting does not clear it. I had to go into Settings->Apps->Installed Apps->Microsoft Teams->...->Advanced Options and select Reset (Repair did not work).

This was fine for me, but I really do not want to walk everyone else on the Team through this process (or everyone else that had a Channel deleted on a Team).

I would like Microsoft to comment on this. I wish I had seen this before the M365 Conference last week. I would have tracked someone down. I may still try to do so. This may be an issue that has not received enough notice from Microsoft management. (I'll try anything)

We are experiencing the same issue. We delete up to 10 channels a month and these are now reappearing. Clearing cache / relogging is not fixing the issue. PLEASE fix this issue Microsoft.

Also a note, this issue does not occur in old teams, or new Teams in the browser.

Is there finally a reliable solution? Deleting Cache, Log-out-in, switching between different apps (desktop, web, mobile).... it's ridiculous. People are getting crazy because they have different channel views while they are in the same Teams. We are talking about one of the most used MS Apps, I guess. What is going on?

I did exactly what you said and the old channels that keep popping up aren't even in the deleted files
