I have a named group chat. But the search option on top doesn't show the group.

I named a group chat abc. When I tried to search for it using the top search bar, it doesn't list the group. I even selected the "Group Chats" tag on top but it doesn't return a result.

Searching for contacts only gives me group chats! I can’t find the people I’m looking for.

When I search for specific people, they vanish from the search results! Instead, I only see the group chats they’re members of. This happens to some people, but not everyone. This is true for the New Teams. Teams classic works fine every time.
